The (Brunel-built) Great Western Main Line passes through the town, calling at Maidenhead railway station and offering frequent, direct services to London, Reading, Newbury, Didcot, and Oxford. Additionally, there are less frequent direct services to Banbury, Hereford, Worcester, and Great Malvern.
